Creative/artistic person.. don't want to make the wrong choice?

In college, my original major was Music (I play piano) but my parents deterred me from going in the artistic direction, saying that i might not make it and then I'd end up being a "starving artist." Since I do have other interests, like economics and politics, I have switched my major to Business Administration... I judt don't know if I'm doing the right thing. When I think about my life, I want to be successful and be financially stable and make a good living... but I have so many creative interests, drama and theatre, art, and especially music... I just think experiencing all these things would be the best parts of my life, and I don't want to miss out. I feel like I'm on the fence about everything in my life and I have to make this decision that will effect all the years to come. Is there a way to balance these things? A way to get my degree in Business, while still enhancing my other interests (like taking acting). I want to find my TRUE pion (I'm talented in playing...)
