Does someone know if the original real UGG boots are made in Australia or China?

I bought some supposedly the newest model they where around 165$ and my friend told me that hers said Made in China she returned them because she wanted the original not imitation. She said they gave her the original ones and free gloves. I bought them in Nordstrom. so did she. How do you know which ugg boots are original? The guy from Nordstrom said your wrong all of the ugg boots are made in china first he said its been 5 years since Australia don't make them anymore and then he said 30 years since they stoped making them? help
