Help Please!! Grammar, rephrasing, and lengthning!??!!!?

I believe I am the most suitable candidate for the Public Relations position because of my experience. Including this current year, I have been in ? for 3 years, and for 2 of those years I was a member of the Public Relations committee. I have an excellent understanding of what the responsibilities of the Public Relations committee are, and I have always participated in distributing fliers around the campus for ? promotion. For the past 3 years I have attended the majority of the meetings of both the main group as well as the committee meetings. As far as my personal experience and attendance I am confident that I am among the top members of the Public Relations committee. I am confident that because of the skills I have learned though this experience, I will be a true et for you in the Public Relations position.
