Do you think US Christians will ever follow the Brazilian practice of referring to themselves as Evangelicals?

in order to differentiate ourselves from others who choose to refer to themselves as Christians but don't share our beliefs (for example, the Moonies of all people)? Or will we begin to use some other term with the same idea in mind? Why or why not? I think a switch of some kind is overdue myself.
