Fast Moving Bright Light in the Sky?

It is 9:34p.m. I live in North Eastern Washington Near the Canadian Border, I was outside, not alone, and neither of us drink or use drugs, but I saw a bright light moving sideways at a downward angle. I would ume it was a plane, but it wasn't blinking. It went like this for about 2mins till it just dissipated in mid-air. I know it was not a star because it was defiantly moving way to fast for a star, then I though maybe a meteor or something like that, but I haven't heard anything about one that was suppose to p of this area, then I thought about that asteroid that was to p by earth, but I do not remember when that is or was suppose to p by or if it would even be visible to the naked eye.Now I am not one who likes to jump to conclusions, but it was odd and I was wondering if there is a reasonable explanation of what this may be? I ask for serious answers only please.
