Help me rephrase this pharagraph?

Radiation exposure in this range severely damages the vascular system. It also causes aculation of fluid in the brain (cerebral edema), leading to central nervous system syndrome. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, explosive diarrhea, convulsions, and progressive impairment of cognitive and motor skills. A person exposed to this amount of radiation will enter a coma and die within 48 hours.
